Nebraska Trail GrantsWhether it be a 12 foot wide concrete trail in an urban area or an 8 foot wide limestone trail in a rural area, grant funding can be essential to get the trails on the ground. In Nebraska, there are several different types of grants that a community can apply for. This page links to grant funds that are available to political subdivisions that are federal funds administered by state agencies. There are numerous other opportunities through Foundation funding to build trails. Please click on the grant fund that is of interest: Recreational Trails Program (RTP) Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) Transportation Enhancement Program (TE) Safe Routes to Schools Program Need additional information or assistance on how to get started on getting a trail in your area?
