Champion Mill State Historical Park
Summary
Champion Mill, the last functional water-powered mill in Nebraska, stands as a symbol of the settlement and development of Nebraska and the West. The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission purchased the mill and made it a state historical park in 1969. As a historical park, it remains an example of the late 19th and early 20th century industrial milling.
Attractions
The historical park offers tours of the mill building and grounds. It is a day-use area only. Camping is available at the adjacent Champion Lake State Recreational Area.
