Description:
The American Crow is widespread in many habitats, but absent in the interior of dense forests and most deserts. Its distinctive, familiar cawing is evocative of the American countryside, where it is often seen foraging on waste grain in harvested fields. Flocks are often seen mobbing larger hawks and owls.
