HALSEY BECOMING AN OUTDOORS-WOMAN WORKSHOP

Schedule of Events | Registration

This workshop is designed for anyone 18 years of age or older to learn
the outdoor skills usually associated with hunting and fishing,
but useful in a variety of outdoor pursuits.

This workshop is for you - if:

• You have never tried these activities but have
hoped for an opportunity to learn.
• You are a beginner who hopes to improve
your skills.
• If you would like to try your hand at some
new activities.
• If you are looking for the camaraderie of
like-minded individuals.

Nestled among the pines of the Nebraska National Forest near Halsey, approximately 65 miles north of North Platte, the Nebraska State 4-H Camp is known for its aesthetic setting, facilities and excellent food service.

Lodging

Participants stay in dormitory-style cabins in sleeping rooms which may include bunkbeds. Cabins accommodate up to 20 people with a bathroom in or near the cabin.

Camping is also available adjacent to the 4-H Camp at the Nebraska National Forest.


Afternoon of Trapshooting


Pawnee SRA
Sat. Oct 8, 2011
Noon to 5 p.m.

Learn safe shotgun handling, develop correct shooting form, gun cleaning and game identification.

$25 Includes instruction, shotguns, ammo, clay targets, hearing and eye protection.
