Summer Evening Canoe Trip JULY 10th
Platte River - Schramm State Park
4:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Fee: $15/person
Rescheduled due to high waters

Here's your chance to experience the Platte River in a canoe. Feel the exhilaration
of physical challenge and immerse yourself in the rhythms of Nebraska's
wilderness. Paddling, reading the water and navigation will be part of the trip.
Participants are required to have previously canoeing experience.

Beginning Kayaking Ladies Workshop
July 25, 2015, Lake Wanahoo - FULL

Anyone wanting to explore the sport of kayaking, we have the boat,
paddle and lifejacket ready for you to learn how to kayak. This fun three
hour workshop will cover basic skills, safety, how to get in your kayak,
launching and docking, equipment and general kayaking knowledge.

These workshops are for any woman who wants to learn how to shoot and increase their knowledge of rifles, meet other women who shoot or just have fun. Get your hands on a variety of high powered rifles, develop marksmanship, acquire hunting skills with a rifle. Get a chance to visit private shooting clubs in the area and meet other members.

Becoming an Outdoors Family
August 8, 2015 all-day
Fort Kearny State Historical Park and State Recreation Area

Becoming an Outdoors-Family is a workshop focused on learning basic outdoor skills to help you and your family enjoy the outdoors. Skills taught are related to a variety of outdoor sports such as fishing, camping, outdoor cooking, kayaking, archery, hunting and hiking.

Introduction to Trap, Skeet, 5-Stand and Sporting Clays
September 28, 2015 Fort Kearny Shooting Range

Spend an afternoon on the shotgun range with the ladies. Learn basic shotgunning or come touch up on your shooting skills. Workshop will include an introduction to trap, skeet, 5-stand and sporting clays – main venues to shotgun entertainment. Novice and experienced shooters are welcome to attend.
