Early Spring Sandhills Tank Float

Tanking is not just for the summer time! Don't let the cold water stop you from enjoying a great time on the water. If needed we will have heaters in the tanks and a grill in the middle of the tank for steaks, kabobs or whatever we feel like throwing on for an on-the-water dining experience! It doesn't get any better than this! Just layer your clothes and come along with us! Beautiful scenery, good times, and great friendships!

and the Outdoor Heritage Education Complex - Sat., April 25, 2015 near Louisville

Horseback riding for beginners should be fun and relaxing. Join our skilled instructors in learning introductory riding skills, care and how to groom a horse. You will love horseback riding through the park's scenic trails –what a great way to experience nature! This day long workshop will also include learning archery and shooting skills (shotguns and rifles) on the range. The fun will not stop there, as you will end the day over the fire making a Dutch oven meal for supper!

Experience Fort Robinson State Park - FULL
May 15-17, 2015, Crawford, NE

Enjoy Nebraska's beautiful pine ridge by hiking, horseback, and kayaking. Stay at Nebraska's most important historic site--Fort Robinson State Park. We will be hiking the challenging buttes and enjoying some great views.

Beginning Canoeing Ladies Workshop
June 4, 2015 6:30 p.m., Wherspann Lake, Omaha

Anyone wanting to explore the sport of canoeing, we have the boat, paddle and life-jacket ready for you to learn how to canoe. This fun workshop will cover basic skills, safety, how to get in your canoe, launching and docking, equipment and team paddling.

Summer Evening Canoe Trip June 12, 2015 Platte River
4:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Fee: $15/person

Here's your chance to experience the Platte River in a canoe. Feel the exhilaration
of physical challenge and immerse yourself in the rhythms of Nebraska's
wilderness. Paddling, reading the water and navigation will be part of the trip.
Participants are required to have previously canoeing experience.

Dutch Oven Cooking
June 17, 2015 - Nebraska Outdoor Education Center Cooking

Learn how to cook using Dutch Ovens and other campfire methods. Dutch ovens make it easy to enjoy a tasty outdoor meal. Instructors will share how to season, maintain cooking temperature, demonstrate basic tools, and clean and store Dutch Ovens. You will prepare an amazing meal, sure to be enjoyed by everyone.

Time to take your kayaking experience to the next level! This weekend is designed for ladies that have kayaking experience and are now ready for a new challenge, explore the rivers. Shotgun Shooting Series


Introduction to Trap, Skeet, 5-Stand and Sporting Clays
September, 2015 • Fort Kearny Shooting Range

Spend an afternoon on the shotgun range with the ladies. Learn basic shotgunning
or come touch up on your shooting skills. Workshop will include an introduction
to trap, skeet, 5-stand and sporting clays – main venues to shotgun entertainment.
Novice and experienced shooters are welcome to attend.
